Control of fluid outlet temperature is achieved by adding optional louvers on the air inlet side. The louvers also provide additional protection from the elements.
Superior PerformanceCompact, unitized cooling combines engine, compressor, and multiple-stage gas cooling in a single unit with a v-belt drive. The independent adjustment of louvers over separate services provides superior air-flow characteristics and increased operating efficiency. Manually operated or automatic temperature controlled louvers may be used to control fluid temperature. Unique Sloped Section ArrangementThe cooler's unique sloped section arrangement provides greater cooling capacity within a given frame size. This arrangement also facilitates installation by reducing the required skid space. Exclusive Plenum DesignThe unit's special plenum design creates a high discharge air velocity to minimize the recirculation of hot air. The vertical discharge design makes the cooler's performance predominantly unaffected by variation in wind direction or the location of adjacent equipment. Forced Draft DesignForced draft EH units are inherently more efficient than induced draft coolers. The forced draft design uses less horsepower by handling cooler ambient air of greater density. And the forced draft design is safer than induced draft coolers. It provides for excellent visual inspection and easy access to all moving parts. |

Bolt-Together OptionThe optional bolted design allows for partial field erection and lower export shipping costs. Superior Weight DistributionThe unit's design places the center of gravity near the physical center of the unit. This eliminates any unequal weight distribution or top-heaviness normally found in other designs. This design results in greater safety, stability, and ease of handling and installation. Outstanding Workmanship and Quality of ComponentsDesigned to withstand severe installation conditions, each air-x-changer receives both prime and finished coats of high-abrasion-resistant enamel. A variety of optional primers, finishes, or galvanizing enables units to withstand extreme operating conditions from desert to wet to arctic environments. |
